What ShelfSight provides
ShelfSight is an information and comparison service that helps users view retailer listings, compare observed prices, follow price changes, and organize shopping baskets.
Retailer prices and availability
Retailers may change prices, promotions, stock, product descriptions, pack sizes, fees, or availability at any time. A displayed price may therefore differ from the price offered in a store, on a retailer’s website, or at checkout. Collection times shown by ShelfSight indicate when information was observed, not a guarantee that it remains current.
You should confirm the final product, availability, and total price directly with the retailer before purchasing. The retailer—not ShelfSight—is responsible for the sale, payment, fulfilment, returns, warranties, and customer service.
Comparisons and savings
Comparisons depend on the products, retailers, matching rules, availability, and data captured at the time. Basket totals may exclude delivery charges, service fees, loyalty discounts, location-specific pricing, substitutions, or other checkout adjustments unless expressly stated. Estimates, trends, and potential savings are informational and are not financial advice or a guarantee.
Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account and devices secure. Information you provide must be accurate and lawful. Tell us promptly if you believe your ShelfSight account is being misused.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse ShelfSight, interfere with its operation, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, scrape or copy the service at unreasonable scale, impersonate another person, infringe intellectual-property rights, or use the service unlawfully. We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect ShelfSight, its users, retailers, or third parties.
Third-party services
Links to retailer and other third-party services are provided for convenience. ShelfSight does not control or endorse their content, products, security, availability, or terms. Your dealings with a third party are between you and that third party.
Intellectual property
ShelfSight’s software, branding, design, original content, and compilation of information are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Retailer names, product names, images, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Except as permitted by law, you may not reproduce or commercially exploit ShelfSight content without permission.
Service availability and disclaimers
We aim to provide a useful and reliable service, but ShelfSight is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that information will always be complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ShelfSight will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the service, reliance on displayed information, retailer conduct, unavailable products, or third-party services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features and may update these Terms. Updated Terms will be published here with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any dispute will be handled by the courts or other competent dispute-resolution bodies of Kenya, subject to any rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
